One of the most fun traditions of fair week is on Friday at 7:30 PM in the barn arena! Exhibitors of all ages are invited to dress up alongside their animal and compete for awards like Most Creative Animal Costume, Best Original Costume, and Crowd Favorite.

No registration is required — just show up dressed up and ready to have fun. Lineup begins at 7:00 PM behind the barn arena, and animals must have shown during the 2025 Crawford County Fair.

Costume Contest

The Crawford County Fair Livestock Shows are where hard work all year long meets the spotlight in the show ring! From first-time exhibitors to seasoned showmen, our barns are filled with dedication, pride, and a whole lot of early mornings. Before hitting the ring, exhibitors are required to review the Show Ring Code of Ethics, Exhibition Health Requirements, and all species-specific rules outlined in the Fair Book to ensure a safe and successful fair week for everyone. We can’t wait to see our exhibitors showcase their animals and represent Crawford County with excellence!

Round Robin Showmanship Contest

Watch some of our top exhibitors compete in the Round Robin Showmanship Contest on Friday, September 12 at 5:30 PM in the Main Show Ring! This event features Junior (ages 9–13) and Senior (ages 14–19) contestants who have qualified by winning their species showmanship division and will now showcase their skills across multiple species, including sheep, cattle, swine, and goats, while also being judged on attire and knowledge. Exhibitors will meet at the Fair Secretary table at 5:00 PM to draw order and animal assignments. Come cheer them on as they compete for top

honors!
